RIP IZ The Wiz

On the early morning of Wednesday June 17 the graffiti art world lost one of its most influential artists,Iz The Wiz, one of New York's early graffiti train pioneer, due to health reasons.He began his art career in the subways of New York in the 70's and then moved on to walls and canvases. To all those who knew, him he was a kind caring friend who like to share his classic old school train stories. 1958-2009 Mike Martin - We send our sincere condolences to his family and friends.You can check out more of his art work in his website: IzTheWiz.com

You don't always know when or how, or even if you've touched someone's life... or that you've become a positive influence. Iz the Wiz inspired and promoted through his art. It is through his art and inspiration that he will be remembered, and sorely missed by his friends and family.
I humbly offer my condolences, and I raise my glass to Iz the Wiz.
